Professor Fucking Layton

"I've been playing Professor Layton lately..."

date: October 7, 2009

...and this is pretty much exactly what I think while I'm playing. Except you didn't make any jokes about him being some kind of paedophile towards that stupid kid. It's like, you're supposed to be out looking for a murderer, preferably before he kills again, why the fuck are you wasting time doing stupid puzzles every 2 minutes? Like I said, you pretty much nailed it.
Animation was top notch, the really gritty style was great (the cuteness of the PL games pisses me off no end) voice acting was really good and fit well with the style and the parallels with the game were fucking funny.
Please do make a sequel, I'll be looking out for it.

The Facebook Problem

"I liked the social commentary."

date: October 7, 2009

Sadly I know people who are stupid enough to actually do something like that. Which is one of the main reasons why I don't have an account for any of the social networking sites. Also I like the really simple drawing style and the selective colouring. All in all a great movie and loads of humour, both blatant and subtle. Good work!

Facebook Twitter

"I enjoyed this a lot!"

I thought this was really, really good. The animation, characters, voice acting humour, themes and social commentary are all exceptionally well done and the music fits perfectly. I guess that's to be expected from JohnnyUtah. I've been meaning to watch this for months now and I'm glad I finally got round to it.
Personally I don't have a facebook or twitter (or any other social networking crap) account but I see a lot of parallels with Draconius to some of the stupid people I know who are obsessed with their facebook and myspace pages. Honestly, it would be satisfying to see them forced to impale themselves, stupid bastards...
